Bushfire
It’s amazing to see how the land regenerates after a fire. The blackened barren land that a bush fire leaves in its wake is not the end of the story. The black trunks will sprout with new green growth just where one might have thought there was no life.
New plants grow from the ash covered soil. The once blackened landscape transforms into something filled with green shoots of new hope.
The land thought to have been defeated by the flames of the fire shows it is not dead but alive. It proves to all that are watching that it has not lost the fight.
Ok so this is a little piece, first inspired by a trip down to the coast and passing some bush that had been burnt recently. I didn't finish on that trip and still don't think it's finished (I don't really even know what it is) but thought it would be a great place to share it. In a fiery pack!
